![]() ![]() ![]() OPUS is an STScI developed automated data pipeline system providing a distributed processing environment used to control and monitor applications executing in a sequential order. #Stsci astrometry software#This paper describes the processing performed by the STScI Astrometry Pipeline and how the pipeline was designed and developed to reuse existing software components from the STScI OPUS system. Prior to the STScI Astrometry Data Processing Pipeline becoming operational, HST Astrometry Data Sets were produced by the Astrometry and Engineering Data Processing (AEDP) System at Goddard Spaceflight Center (GSFC). GRAVITY Science Science The combination of four 8-m-class Telescopes using the GRAVITY interferometric beam combiner together with a robust and innovative near-infrared adaptive optics system, opens exciting observing conditions in the following astro-physical fields. Susana Deustua (STScI) photometric calibration Wolfram Freudling (ESO) data reduction Carlos Gonzalez-Fernandez (CASU) infra-red imaging data, incl. This pipeline is responsible for producing Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Astrometry Data Sets used to analyze astrometry observations and the operation of the HST Fine Guidance Sensors (FGS). When Lam analyzed the photometry and astrometry for the five microlensing events, she was surprised. ![]() An Astrometry Data Processing Pipeline has been developed and deployed at th e Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). Introduction In this lab, we will do astrometry on images obtained using the Rigel robotic telescope located at the Iowa Robotic Observatory which is located at the Winer Observatory in southern Arizona. STScI manages the science program for the telescope and conducts its science operations.
